XYZ Art Studio

WELCOME TO XYZ ART STUDIO IN LAS CRUCES, NEW MEXICO

XYZ Art Studio is a non-residential space in Las Cruces where on-site artists produce works in watercolor and acrylics. Some of the pieces are available for sale through the artists' websites or in galleries in southern New Mexico. We display our work through gallery visits, regional gallery tours, and community events. This includes participation in the Love of Art Month studio tours which happen every February in Las Cruces.

XYZ Studio is located in a rural setting on four acres west of the Rio Grande. The Studio has off-street parking for 15 vehicles. Much of the property is bordered by pecan orchards. The gallery has display space showcasing the work of the on-site artists. Special exhibitions are also held, promoting the works of regional artists. 

At XYZ Studio, we host events for the southern New Mexico arts community. This includes demonstration workshops and talks on creating art. We also host fundraising events for the broader Las Cruces arts community. All of these events can be found on this website. Recent exhibitions include an original art fundraiser for the New Mexico State University Museum of Art, and a hands-on Ikebana workshop. 

XYZ Studio has space available for artists in the community who want to host workshops, presentations, and demonstrations. Tables and chairs are available, with seating for up to 20 people. The studio includes heating/cooling, a refrigerator, restroom, wall/display space, and sink. Off-street parking is available for up to 15 cars. We promote workshops on our website, as well as through local publications, websites, and resources.

Art studio space for rent in Las Cruces

Studio space available for one artist, effective July 1, 2026

Artists are welcome to apply for studio space, which will be available on July 1. 2026. The artist will have dedicated space in XYZ Studio, with access to the building 24/7. Most media is acceptable, but nothing toxic. By renting the space, the artist is welcome to attend the workshops, exhibitions, and artist talks that are sponsored by XYZ Studio.
